Hi everyone.
I am applying for physics phd for the fall 2011 term. I've MSc degree in physics and a good research background (1 published article in phys rev, and 1 in revision). However my problem is I didn't take the physics subject test. Due to some problems i missed the deadline, and the next one in my country is given in april.
So, now i am applying for umich/rice/carnegie mellon/brown/uni. of florida. However, I am also looking for a safety school. Do you have any suggestions, or how big a problem is it to not have a subject test. (well, i at least have general test and 800 quantitative on it).
Any help is appreciated
