Chemical Physics PhD

I've found a program that I really like, but I would earn a PhD in Chemical Physics instead of a PhD in Physics. My ultimate goal is to become a Physics professor (I wouldn't be opposed to industry, but I'd rather academia). Does anyone have any idea of my chances of becoming a professor of physics with a PhD in Chemical Physics as opposed to if I just went to a traditional Physics PhD program?
