Good astrophysics instrumentation programs?

Hi, I'm applying for PhD programs this year and I'm specifically looking for programs that are good in astrophysics instrumentation and observation. I just graduated with a B.A. in physics, so I'm not too familiar with the lesser known astrophysics programs. I've compiled a list of schools I'm interested in which are:
Harvard
UCSC
University of Hawaii
UC Berkeley
Caltech
UCLA
But as those are all fairly difficult to get into I was wondering if anyone could suggest any other schools known for instrumentation? I'd hate to not get into any grad program. Thanks
