Dear friends,

I am a physics major and currently, I have to choose between two places for the MSc degree (outside the US):

1) Master in Nano-Molecular Science at Jacobs University, Germany

2) Master in Physics, Koc University, Turkey

The courses offered in the first program are very specialized and includes courses like Nanomolecular Science (I & II), From Molecules to Matter, Nanomolecular Science Lab Rotations, Master Thesis, Quantum Theory in Condensed Matter Physics, Structural Methods in Nanoscale Science, Structure and Mechanism, etc.
But, the second program (at Koc University), includes all the ordinary courses taught in physics master programs.

What do you think? I mean, with pursuing which path I will have better chances for a PhD position in applied physics at one of the top ranked US universities. What parameters should I consider?

Thanks
