I would like to hear from those who got admission to UMass (Amherst). It seems a nice place although the stipend is very low compared to the cost_of_living.

Hey Sit, I got into UMass. I agree that the stipend is a little low, but keep in mind that that's only for 9 months and it's possible to get 2-3 grand more for during summer work. I don't think the cost of living is too terrible considering it's a quaint college town and not in Boston or anything.
