can anyone give me some advice on where is a better place to be at. the main problem is that i am most interested in medical physics, and none of these schools really have this field. i am not so sure what field of physics i want to go into in this case... possibly solid state however i am very torn b/w these schools.
people have been telling me extremely conflicting things.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

Pitt is much larger/more interesting than most people think. They may not be big on medical physics, but they have a decent physics program and a huge medical school with hordes of money just a few blocks away. I'm sure if you were interested in making something happen along the lines of medical physics, you could arrange it.

I know nothing about Northeastern. If you have more specific questions about Pitt, there is a good chance I know the answer.
