Boston U vs Northeastern

Hi,

I'm facing a dilemma: I have to choose between Boston University and Northeastern...the city is the same, so that's out :) The biophysics research group in Northeastern is larger and has a lot more reasearch topics, but overall Boston U is better ranked...so what should I choose? Any of you going to these 2?

Thanks,

Octavian

I am always a fan of a larger research group which has more options. There are good people at both places.

Hmm,

I would definitely go to Boston U., but I am interested in High E. and they have the greatest pheno group there. Unfortunately I am rejected from Boston, and still waiting a response from Northeastern (they better say something before April 15th it is driving me nuts).

Also caco27 if you are willing to say something about Northeastern I would appreciate it too.

Northeastern is really big on complex networks with applications to biophysics; Barabasi is there isn't he? That could be something to consider.
