Here is my profile:
Scores and Grades:
Overall GPA: 3.91
Overall GPA: not sure but very similar to overall GPA
haven't taken it yet, I can update once I have taken them. Not expecting above 900.
Projects / Research:
Work on ILC (dark matter phenomenology type research) for over a year and a half.
CERN: Summer REU working at CERN on ATLAS Calibration. Went well, not a disaster, not amazing.
Presented at a workshop at PNNL once.
Did some tutoring
My adviser for my ILC research. I have known him for almost 2 years and I know he will write a good letter. I took his class and was at the top of the class.
My supervisor at CERN. The research went well, But he is pretty reserved, its hard to judge.
The last will just have to be a professor in whose class I did well.
I am mainly interested in particle physics phenomenology (still broad, I know). I am wondering at what range of US Universities I have a chance. Could someone comment on my chances at various Universities, say top 10, top 30, top 50, etc.? If you have any specific recommendations, that would be great!
