Hi

Its already 23 December 2011 and the Nov 12 test scores are not yet online. I am in India. The ETS doesn't say which time zone they are referring to when they give the date. When do you think the scores will be up ?

I was just checking the scaled score versus the percentile for the sample exams by ets. I wanted to compare my scores to these.

Test GR0177- 920 ( 92 %)

Test 8677 - 920 ( 96 % )

Test GR9277 - 920 ( 92 %)

Test GR9677 - 920 ( 92 %)

Test GR0877 - 920 ( 89 %)

I have 920 , which is 89 %. So does this mean that this test was easier than the sample tests ? I certainly found it easier. Whatever I solved, I did correct. But couldn't finish all the 100 problems. And what is the highest percentile for this test ?
All the above sample tests have different top percentiles.

Yeah, I certainly found this test to be way easier than any of the sample tests. I guess people are scoring better and better every year and this seems to be driving the upper percentile bound lower.
Those stats are really quite illuminating but 96ile% for 920 in 8677 ??

The highest percentile is also dropping. Earlier it used to be around 97-98%ile...now it's dropped down to only 95%ile.

Yes, for the GR8677 the figure is true, it has 98 % for 990.

So where do I stand ? I am an international student from India. But I am not fresh student. I passed M.Sc. in 1999 and working since then as lecturer. Also don't have much research experience , though I have first class in M.Sc. Since I don't want to waste money on schools where I don't have any chances, what tier of universities I should target in US and Canada. ?

look through all of the profiles threads and ask again if you still have questions.
