I apologize if someone asked about it before, but I'd like to know if there's the typo in this problem in the official materials printed by ETS? Shouldn't the $3P_{3/2}$ be $2P_{3/2}$, since there's only one electron (and thus S=1/2, 2S+1=2)? Because, if there're TWO electrons, the official solution (A) is erroneous (the spin in the electric dipole transitions can't change).

Yeah, I agree with these guys. But what about the official version? Has ETS announced the typo?
