I think what you are trying to say is that there have been many scientists over the centuries that have believed in god, and that is proof, or at least evidence, of the existence of god. If that is your argument, it is faulty. Just because something is widely believed doesn't make it true. Many scientists over the centuries have undoubtedly believed the once widespread belief that women are intellectually inferior to men.
