I checked the PPPL website yesterday and I see they've decided to cancel the Stellerator project they've been working on for 5 years due to time delays and insufficient funds. Makes me sad. This just adds to the worries I have about whether this was a promising career path to take... When I toured their facilities, it was inspiring to see teams of enginners, technicians and physicists building the coils for this project, and I feel bad that they'll never get to see the thing run
