Language of a foreign test centre

Hi all. New here.

I have a PGRE exam in a couple of days and due to something funky going on with the London Test Centre (in that they dont seem to be holding the PGRE this year at all!) I have to take it in Paris (I am a UK resident).

While I have confirmation from the GRE guys that all exams are in english, I am wondering about the invigilators. Will they conduct all the instruction in English or French? Should I know more than "Start" and "Stop" in french?

Any help would be appreciated.

Don't worry, I've taken the test twice, each time at a different foreign country (without English as the first language) and the instructions for the test were in English both times. The ETS requires the invigilators/proctors to read out the exam instructions in English. Once the test starts you don't need them anyway.
