should I buy my textbooks?

Post by epislon58 » Tue Dec 31, 2013 3:40 pm

I am a freshman at a university and interested in taking the pgre and attending a physics phD program. Should I purchase my classroom textbooks, instead of renting them, so I can use them later on in the future to study for the physics gre?

Plan on purchasing your physics and math textbooks and rent or borrow others you are less likely to reference again, like books for history and humanities courses.
