Would there be a considerable number of Institutes with an application deadline (for graduate school) as late as April for Fall semester of the same year. I've been using Thomson Peterson's database and it appears most deadlines are either past or latest 1/2/2005 for Fall of 2005.

Try UBC - University of British Columbia, in Vancouver. I think their deadline is at the end of March.
