Nov 10 ,2012 Physics GRE test.

Dear Friends,
Nov 10 ,2012 exam date is approaching. I had been following this site regularly, I have been following the same books wch was repeatedly mentioned in previous posts. I wanted to know, for problems " 3000 probs in physics" ,is it a good source for PGRE??? i am nervous with my preparation , Also i am weak in Electromagnetics :( donno wat's going to happen. One more thing , Do i need to solve griffith probs in ED ,few chapters???

hey tuhina, iam taking the PGRE test also in 10th Nov and my advice which i've heared from dozens of people here and out of here is:
"JUST CONCENTRATE ON THE 500 ETS OFFICIAL PROBLEMS WHICH R IN THE 5 ETS OFFICIAL TESTS"
and u will be much more than fine during ur exam and actually that's what iam doing right now regardless of the long time taken to understand every answer for every question
so my 2nd advice.....START RIGHT NOW ON THESE PROBLEMS

Most of the ED problems are on boundary conditions and Griffiths is a pretty good resource for that. I think reading a couple of chapters of Griffiths should be enough for the PGRE.

My piece of advice: If you are done with the ETS tests and you have the means, buy the 3 exams of physicsgreprep.com.

Hey guys where do you find the 5 official prep tests...I only have the one i downloaded from the official site?

since it is one week till the next PGRE, i'll be much more GENEROUS :)

Even i agree that couple of chapters from griffith is a must do for the test .
