As a physics/philosophy double major, I have quite obviously the highest GRE score possible (philosophy is top for verbal, and physics is for math/analytical)

my boss has dual PhD's in Education and Public Policy (school principal, was superintendent before retiring). Obviously he doesn't know anything.

yay? Not only is it a stupid test, but because Physics majors scored much higher on the Verbal than other quantitative majors, such as engineering majors, my scores in the 400s look really bad. For engineering, my scores are good enough. I may have gotten rejected from some schools simply because of a non-important factor like that. I know at least one school I got rejected from told me that it stood out
